WASHINGTON, D.C. — Citizens for a Secure and Safe America (C4SSA) welcomes the historic visit of Admiral Brad Cooper, Commander of U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM), to Damascus for a meeting with Syrian President Ahmad Al-Sharaa. This marks the first visit of its kind and represents a significant step forward in advancing stability, security, and unity in Syria.
In their discussions, Admiral Cooper and President Al-Sharaa explored opportunities for cooperation, both politically and militarily. Their engagement reflects a shared recognition that constructive dialogue is essential to address recent challenges and lay the groundwork for long-term stability.
